Provides monolithic appearance and allows for front sight to be mounted further out and co-witness with standard rear sights. Mil-spec picatinny machined top rail extends an additional six inches from end of receiver. Bottom of handguard is tapped for accessory rails. Installs with four screws into receiver accessory holes; no modification needed. Mil-spec Type III anodized 6061 aluminum construction.
