This is a Russian SKS chambered in 7.62x39mm. Manufactured by Izhvesk which were only manufactured for about two years which makes this variant of the SKS the rarest that were imported into the U.S. This rifle is in great condition, there is still cosmoline dried on various ares of the gun. There are two cracks in the wood stock, one located behind the top cover and the other located on the bottom of the rifle in front of the magazine. All numbers are matching including the stock that was forced to match the rest of the rifle. Which is why this rifle is believed to be an Arsenal refurb. Comes with a fixed bayonet that is functional, with original Russian sling and cleaning kit which is still located in the butt stock of the rifle.
